Zenoss has by default a 300 second (5 minute) cycle time on data collecting, which is great when the device is operating properly. But if a device goes down (ie. when the data collecting fails), will Zenoss retry the data collecting quicker than 300 seconds Ideally I'd like to set it up so zenoss will retry a failed command every 60 seconds if failed, and every 300 seconds if successful.

Zenoss does not support this and is an existing feature request.
