ISO: tips to resolve Windows 10 Internet Explorer issue

So I thought I would see what Zenoss Core 5 looked like under Windows 10.

Using Chrome, things look pretty good.

Using Firefox, things look pretty good

Using Edge, things look pretty good.

Using Internet Explorer, things don't look so good. In this case, none of the widgets on the dashboard appear, nor does the Event console, the infrastructure screen, or the reports screen. The Advanced screen does appear.

Certainly we can warn users to no longer use IE when they go to Win10. But we were wondering if anyone else had encountered this and found a solution other than "don't use it".
